If you fail to enroll in Medicare Part B during your
initial eligibility period, and do not qualify for an exception, you may only
apply for Medicare Part B in January to March of each year. Your Medicare Part
B coverage will begin July 1 of that year. Verify your Medicare enrollment status with Social Security
at age 65.
